This book deals with the tough subject of date rape drugs. Alexander Padgett does a wonderful job of showing how this affects the person the drug was given to, their friends and family. Abbi has to find her strength and voice after being given a date rape drug. Clay wants to help Abbi and protect her from the media and anyone who wants to hurt her. Abbi and Clay both have things they need to deal with in their own lives, but will they do it together or apart? They both come have famous rock star fathers and that puts them in the media spotlight. Be sure to read the entire series. Although this can be read as a stand alone, there are many recurring characters.
