Between Breaths: A Bad Boy Rockstar Romance (Seattle Sound series Book 2)
Hayden Crewe is the hottest rockstar on the planet…
…and I’m going to make him all mine.
I’m tired of playing it safe. Of missing out and nursing my regrets instead of grabbing life by the balls.
So, this time, even though I have everything to lose, I’m going for my rock star.
After all, what more can break me? I’m already halfway to heartache. And hanging on by a thread. The one Hayden has pulled tight, wrapped around me.
In our short time together, Hayden managed to play my heart and body beautifully. Now, this rollercoaster with my rockstar could be real.
But life isn’t done throwing me curveballs.
We’re both hiding secrets, nursing our grief, and I can’t help but wonder if I’ll survive the final, glorious crash forced on us by fate and fickle fame.
Don’t miss the chance to lose your heart to Briar, Hayden, and a very grumpy cat in this steamy saga of hope and love from a USA Today bestselling author.

Another Terrific Addition To A Fantastic Series!
This Seattle Sound series is fantastic and I was thrilled to read an advance copy of Hold You Close. I’m not sure there’s anything better than a second chance romance, and this one made me laugh, made me cry, squeezed my heart, then jammed it in my throat, but best of all left me with that satisfied, happy sigh at the end.
Alexa Padgett has a gift for creating a setting that’s believable and realistic and characters who are complex, damaged, redeemable and so very endearing. I loved everything about Mila and Murphy! Well, not Murphy’s revolving door of disposable women (if that bothers you, don’t worry, there are no details), but knowing what drove his behavior made it understandable, even evoking a bit of empathy, and set him up to heal his wounds and become a better man. Mila wasn’t without flaws, which only makes it better when two lost souls can find each other again and become better together than they ever were apart.
If you like a book that has a lot of heart and passion, a little humor and heat and one that will keep you on pins and needles right up until the end, you’ll love this book! It’s well worth reading!!
